WHY and HOW?
As I tried my best to make you understand the fact that the thing that matters the most is your caloric intake. If you take more calories than your body's caloric requirement, you’ll definitely gain weight. It's not about what you take, it's all about how much you take. For example, if a person eats fast food items only, he can still manage to stay within his desired caloric range. No doubt, fast food items aren't good for your body. They can cause many others diseases. The point is controlling portion size is the most important. I have literally seen people consuming salads all day long and surprisingly I have witnessed them gaining weight instead of losing. So, tracking macros is very basic and necessary step especially for losing weight.
